Yes, but if he's more consistent or has more length on his kicks than the
person who is currently kicking, he's got a great shot.
My son was a quarterback who also kicked and punted for his team because he was the best they had. When a kid from the soccer team came and started kicking they quickly got him up to speed and he took over kicking within a few weeks. Everybody was happy about that.
