If I taught cadets, I would probably use it too
But I taught officers with 15 years in service going to higher command. I needed to focus on strategy, not tactics. Band of Brothers does well at tactics.
Most of the musuems in Normandy were there before. Band of Brothers focuses on a very small unit, a company. You might say that The Longest Day had the greatest impact on Normandy tourism over the years. Of course, Saving Private Ryan also helped. But yes, I agree that Band of Brothers has brought more tourism for sure.
