Watching the Russians scrimmage before the tournament started and Oleg Terverdorsky buried a shot from the blue line. There were 4 or 5 people watching and clapping. I shouted “nice shot Mighty Duck. Go Ducks” which got everybody on the ice laughing. Maybe a 1/2 hour later from the ice I hear “heads up Mighty Duck”. Teverdorsky proceeds to flip a puck over the glass right into my lap about 15 rows up. He had signed it for me. Never though I could cherish a practice puck.
