This post is for football too.
It's been said... NIL and the transfers are killing college sports. A kid with any talent can jerk multiple schools around asking for ridiculous amounts of money and expecting starters minutes. They have commitment to ONE person, themselves. That's it. End of story.
Kids didn't used to be this way, but the landscape of college athletics have turned them into money hungry athletes who generally think they deserve more money than they are worth. I mean, Dallin Hall thinks he is NBA material, or at least could be? Seriously??? I'm not trying to knock him and his dreams, I just personally don't see it.
I want talented kids that are of course getting paid, there is no way around that, but if you're only in it for the money, go somewhere else. If money is your number one motivator, go somewhere else. Selfishness does not a team build. BYU is a special place. If you can't see that, if you can't feel that, if you don't want that, move along. Team players wanted.
Side note. We need assistant coaches!!! The recruiting trail is hot and ready to harvest!
