destroy my interest in investing in or caring about our teams. The fun of college sports has always been about cheering for people that are committed to the school that I have a deep and abiding personal interest in. If they are only at BYU to maximize their annual NIL paycheck and half the team is going to test the transfer portal at the end of each season, I'm not going to care much whether they are good or bad. I already have nearly zero interest in pro sports for all of these reasons.
