Pope likely desperate with player exodus. Kentucky might be BYU-lite next year
Probably the reason he hasn't sent a simple social media thank you to what he used to lovingly
call "cougar nation" is because he is actively trying to lure BYU players to Kentucky (and away from
"cougar nation"). Mark Pope is the master of hype (at BYU and now at Kentucky). The question is,
can he land better players at Kentucky or is he rebuilding BYU-lite in Lexington? If so, the hype may
get old real quick.
