I recently graduated (went the IB route). Classes are not overly challenging per se but I found it to be very intellectually stimulating. Additionally, there is a very strong emphasis on getting real world experience (internships, work experience, etc) while in school. In business, this is what really matters anyways…he’ll learn 10x more in internships than his actual coursework.
BYU Finance has a phenomenal network, great optionality (IB/PE/VC, Consulting, wealth mgmt, corporate finance, asset mgmt, etc) and is well respected by those in the business world.
If you or your son has any questions, more than happy to chat/answer anything. Just BM me.
