it’s always a difficult decision with regards to timing
But I don’t think I would ever get a surgery if I wasn’t having a lot of pain. Too many complications and issues following surgery to have it done simply because you Think things might get worse in the future or you won’t be able to tolerate it from an age perspective.

The people who I see who regret not getting surgery because they are now too old are the ones who put it off in their late 70s and they have severe symptoms. Next thing you know, they find themselves in their 80s and they are a worse surgical candidate.

I don’t think the scenario applies to people in their 50s or 60s
