fixed and drove all of them except one van sold immediately. I wouldn't buy one from a dealership or some of the guys in town, but it has been a great way to get cheap vehicles, and fixing and painting can be fun.

We bought a Corolla for our teenagers that had a salvage title. Guy bought it at auction and replaced the smashed parts.

I have purchased two - no problems at all with either. But, make sure damage was only cosmetic body damage.

Make sure you know what the damage was. Body damage is ok as long as there was no frame damage

biggest tip: google the VIN. You'll find what the car looked like before it was fixed.
