And maybe I am cynical, but I think that pretty much every player who played for top teams Received improper benefits before NIL became a thing.
We will never know, but I would certainly be willing to bet that at least 80% of all past Heisman winners received improper benefits in some way.
I’m definitely not a fan of cheating. See my prior posts on the Astros. But this is a case where I don’t think the punishment fits the crime in terms of revoking his Heisman Trophy.
