The $ Bush’s family received came from individuals who wanted to be his agents
USC was not involved with paying Bush and that was never uncovered in the investigation. The NCAA’s entire case hinged on the fact the the school was supposed to know what Reggie’s family was up to despite living hours away in San Diego. The USC RB coach blamed for Reggie successfully settled a defamation lawsuit against the NCAA over this.
