I think you're wrong. You do all that to help give your kid fun experiences...
... While growing up, and MAYBE give your kid an opportunity to college athletics for a school he/she likes and want to be part of.
If any parent is saying right now, "I'm putting my kid through all these sports so he/she can play collegiately for 4 different colleges and transfer to a new college after season because that would be so much fun to transfer that many times", that parent is an idiot.
