So what you're saying is the Universities were making boatloads of money...but

were not good at managing that money and staying within budgets. Like paying coaches millions and then firing them and paying them not to coach for the university while paying another coach to replace them.

Yeah...that is dumb. BYU always seemed capable of staying within budget.
