BiPAP basically breathes for you. It has two different pressure levels - one for inhale, one for exhale. Most CPAPs
have a version of that where it drops the pressure during an exhale but the BiPAP drops it way more. From what I understand, a BiPAP can deal with central apneas (where the brain forgets to breathe) compared to the CPAP which deals with obstructive apneas (where your throat and soft palate block the breathing).
