I commute in an EV every day to work
Driving 75-80 MPH on the freeway definitely uses up battery quickly. How many miles of straight electric does the car claim to get? If you're doing freeway at those speeds, I'd basically multiply whatever number they claim by 70%.
I'm able to plug in at work, so it's been a great commuter option for me.
