is ruining amateur sports at the college level. How can a University know who their team will be and how to build a team when players can leave, like dominos falling, with no penalty for breaking their Letter of Intent they signed? They can leave with no penalties such as a lost year of eligibility or have to sit out a year. Plus, those who shell out the most money build the best teams now. Kinda like the NY Yankees every year. No one can compete with their payroll and they and the Dodgers just buy the best players money can buy. That’s professional too where making money is what it’s all about. But this is amateur sports and college where getting your education paid for used to be a big deal! Some schools are charging over a quarter of a million dollars for tuition and athletes get that plus room and board for free. SMH 🤦
