You are kidding right? One example- here are Kyle Collinsworth's senior stats:
15.3 points per game
8.2 rebounds
7.4 assists
2 steals
That is arguably the greatest overall stat line in BYU history. There is a reason he has the NCAA record in triple doubles. Collinsworth was a far better defender, far better passer, far better rebounder. Jaxson is a better shooter, but even in that area Collinsworth scored more per game. How can you possibly say that Jaxson is better OVERALL than Collinsworth?

You're right. It means he's more athletic. By quite a bit. Which is one reason why he's arguably a better player.
