they were counting on him for a lot of snaps to soak up two linemen, freeing the LBs up which was a problem last year. Not sure they have another guy that can be expected to do that regularly on the roster.

I believe there is talent there but it’s not fair imo to expect freshmen, JC transfers or players who played sparingly one season to play at a high level off the bat. Hopefully fans get that.
