The defense showed flashes of what it will be but was inconsistent and lacked depth so when a couple players went down at one time the defense regressed because of drop off in talent / experience ( especially D-line). The defense was bottom third of FBS.

Defense improved but not dramatically.

I expect the o- line to have a similar improvement as the D last year. Improved but not dramatic, injuries to a starter(s) will show and they will get better as the season goes on.

Do you expect the O- line to have a more dramatic improvement this year over last than the Dfense had from 2022 to 2023?

If so, why?

I mean I’m going to root for BYU and I want them to do well but I’m also going to be realistic. It’s their 2nd year in P4, these things shouldn’t be a surprise, they’re common for teams that move up.
