You may have a good argument that they can’t change the commission structure on residual commissions that you already fully earned, but which are paying out over time. But they may be able to change your commission structure for any future commissions. I’ve litigated this exact issue in other states. I’m not licensed in Utah (assuming that’s where you’re at), but it’s worth getting some advice.
