You were so adamant on it that I had to bring it back up now and see if you’d double down. You have sufficiently answered that question. You really believe a team that was a game away from the WCF in 2019, played a competitive WCF against the Lakers in 2020, and then won the title in 2023 when their injured point guard came back… you think that team would have seen little difference in 2021 with all their players healthy. It’s an interesting opinion, no doubt.

And yes, I have a very high opinion of Chris Paul as a player, if he was playing to his full potential last year it would have been a coin flip series that I still think Denver wins in 7 but I would have been very nervous. The way Booker and Durant were playing at home, one more healthy star on that team would have made things interesting. I don’t think you would have seen all the Denver blowouts with someone who could help stop all those runs and I can admit to that. It’s not how things played out and sometimes you get breaks that help your team, but CP3’s injury definitely affected how badly the Suns played and why they were soundly beaten in every loss.
