I came into the position midway through the Capstone as the students take these courses during their final two semesters (CS-4450 - Software Engineering II in the fall and then CS-4550 Software Engineering III that next spring semester). I came in during the Software Engineering III and have had to just adapt to how the professor who taught this class earlier and go with it.

I come from the QA/Testing world (worked at Underwriters Laboratories - UL for my first job out of college and have been doing safety engineering and certification or Global Market Access consulting since then)...and I have been working with the course mentor and department chair to integrate the QA/Testing approach into the initiation phase so that the students can design the testing requirements into the planning phase.
