talent because they aren’t tanking, unable to trade for top end talent because they don’t have enough assets (the draft picks aren’t any good unless Minnesota starts to be terrible), or unable to sign top end free agents because nobody wants to live in Salt Lake City.
The only way the Jazz can bring in top talent as currently constructed is by tanking. Right now the Jazz are on a trajectory to be a 7-14 team in the West for the next. This isn’t going to change unless they somehow luck out into drafting a generational talent with a late lottery pick.
