We went to Laie and hung out there a week
It was very rural there. We saw the Dole plantation, did the temple, did the PCC, went to Haleiwa Joe's, did a Jurassic Park tour, golfed, went to the beach and Pearl Harbor.

Dole plantation is not necessary imo. Like others said, Visit Honolulu and Waikiki, don't stay there.
