Usually in SLC proper I don't feel like traffic is unbearable. It gets worse the further from the city I get.
Since leaving Utah I have lived in Chicago and DFW for comparison.. SLC is nice to drive around when I return... but not many of the SLC suburbs to the north and the south.

The state is too blame. They had a golden opportunity several years ago to build a highway with no stoplights off i-15
