I’ve been thinking about this for way too long. I haven’t googled anything, so my question is untainted:

I know it’s impossible, but theoretically, if we we’re capable of boring a tunnel from one side of the world to it’s exact opposite through the core of the earth, and then built a ladder in the tunnel, you’d be climbing down the tunnel at first, and then at some point in the core, you’d have to start climbing up. Like, what the heck would transition look like? I can’t quite comprehend it.
