Here is the problem, too
When you bore your hole, assuming you are in Utah, the other side will be in the Indian Ocean, east of South Africa. So a bunch of ocean water will rush down the far side of your hole. You'll fall for about 4,000 miles, gradually slowing until you theoretically float in the center. You'll then have to swim 4,000 miles out the other side.

You'd be weightless in the center of the core. The mass of the earth would be pulling you in every direction equally.
