Traverse Mountain had different restrictions, until they lobbied for changes that can never be redone. Look at the what these companies have done in Draper, South Jordan, North Salt Lake, and Pleasant View. They buy the unincorporated land through deals that taxpayers would never have approved, and then claim it is needed for I-15 expansion, homes, ect. This state is full of gravel and it didn’t need to be done in such visible areas, that affect the locals. The dust and big trucks are not real popular in Pleasant View, but pay the money to the right developer politicians and you get what you want.
