Sorry but your HC should take all the blame for the horrible recruiting we have been getting....I rented a car when I was in SLC last month and was wearing a BYU shirt...the dude behind the counter was obviously a Yewt fan but he made a great point...he said now that we are in the big 12 we can't expect to keep picking up recruits from Weber St...SUU and the likes and expect to compete in a P5 program when the other teams are picking up transfers from USC, Ohio St. etc...we still think small time when it comes to our recruiting...I hate to ever say a Yewt made sense but he did this time.

Try to keep in mind that BYU has been at a recruiting disadvantage compared to other P5 teams by being an Indy program.
