It's possibly Inside Out 2 simply because it's a Disney movie that a lot of
people seem actually excited to see (as opposed to many of the Disney releases over the last couple years that have been met with tepid response).

DM4 may have a shot if the reviews are good. The first 3 all hovered around $1B in worldwide box office revenue. I would expect the 4th to over in around the same level if it matches the quality of the first 3. Don't think it will get much more than that. Would put it as one of the top revenue films of the year, but likely not #1.

Moana 2 could be a player, but until we see marketing and what sort of buzz it generates it's too big of an unknown to pick it over Inside Out 2.

If it's not Inside Out 2, I think the most likely other alternative is the new Lord of the Rings movie. For contrast, the Hobbit movies - which had mixed reviews - all got around $1B in worldwide box office revenue. The original Lord of the Rings trilogy each got around $1B in worldwide box office revenue as well. Adjusting for inflation, that would put the Hobbit trilogy all getting around $1.5B in today's dollars and the LOTR getting around $1.7B each. The fact that this movie is animated may alter the demographics that are interested in the movie for better or worse. I still think it will get solid revenue, but not sure it will perform up to the hype level of the 6 movies that precede it (or supersede it since it's a prequel).

I do think these 4 movies, though (Inside Out 2, Despicable Me 4, Moana 2, and LOTR) all have solid shots at surpassing $1B in box office revenue, though, and my pick for top box office winner comes from that group (most likely Inside Out 2 followed by LOTR, followed by Despicable Me 4).
