the two who stayed in TX didn't really want the BYU experience anyway
the ones who stayed in TX really based it more off non-BYU related things.
one debated it, and could've been successful at BYU, but he wanted TX A&M b/c he his best friend could be his roommate and his girlfriend was at TX State so still close enough to visit. He's also the least active of my kids, not that he's antagonistic he could've just gone to Church at the Y without being fully invested, but I don't think he really wanted that experience.
The last could've done BYUI with his twin brother, but he just felt like staying closer to home and is at a San Antonio College. he also wanted to keep his job with a local veterinarian (which relates to his major too)
