charge like they are the bee's knees of amusement parks and I've been to too many that put the place to shame and therefore, being a frugal individual, I can't justify going.
Probably the major reason is that from age 40 on, I develop motion sickness when spinning. Swings give me that feeling. Swings! So, that doubles the issue for me to spend money at Lagoon. It would be a waste. At least at places like Disney World, et al, I'd have other things (like EPCOT Center, etc.) to meander through. I grew up in Ohio and we had 4 amusement parks under 2 hours. One was very small, but so were their prices (Chippewa Lake). 2 would usually have LDS days (Geauga Lake and Sea World) or company's I worked for would have their summer parties there. Then there was Cedar Point. The greatest roller-coaster park in the world. That's the one that makes it very hard to pay to go to Lagoon as both of them charge about the same and the experience is nothing close.
