I've watched the speed limits on the interstates in the state where I live go from unlimited to 55 mph to 65 mph to
75 mph and 80 mph.
Did the state make it objectively more dangerous, and therefore less safe, to drive each time it increased the speed limit? Would you advocate going back to federally mandated universal 55 mph on interstate highways?
