It is fascinating though how people played for many years and developed their understanding of traveling by getting a feel for the game without knowing what the rule book says. I have been exactly the same way in the past. I remember my brother explaining to me as a third or fourth grader how this extra step (that Jokic just did) is legal and it kind of blew my mind.
But its true that many refs at grassroot levels don't even know what the rule books say.
