For us, it was very helpful when friends and colleagues brought us food.

One of my coworkers picked up a bunch of groceries when they were at Costco and brought them over to us. It was really nice in our case because either me or my wife had to be at the hospital all day, so taking care of the other kids was a big pain.

Helping coordinate rides for the other kids activities was also super helpful.
