Yep. That's why a good portion of my 401k monies while I'm in retirement are in stocks as an inflation hedge
Social security is somewhat adjusted due to inflation, but my pension is not. So that's why I'm using my 401k monies as my other inflation hedge.

Yes. But that is why the market is a good hedge against it. It usually manages to stay above inflation.

Margins don't stay the same. Companies are also affected by inflation
