I see what you are saying, but margins are revenue minus costs
So if revenue increases with inflation and costs increase with inflation then margins stay the same as a percentage (which is how margins are calculated). That's what has happened at the company I work for.

You can have record revenue with inflation, but the stock market is smart enough to account for that and they are also looking at profit margins.
