At the individual athlete level? I kinda feel like four is a good
balance. Depending on the events the logistics can get pretty tricky, especially if it’s a mix of field and track events

There are only really 2 distance races and they have them on different days.

I would have loved it as an athlete because I qualified in seven events - but it certainly would benefit the schools
