Also a stat rule. If a student misses 10 consecutive days they have to be dropped because they dont want schools collecting wpu for students who aren't attending. What conseques can schools give to someone not attending. There is no court options like there used to be. The biggest consequence for a school to give a student who isn't attending is if they don't attend a certain percentage of the class they can't recieve credit towards graduation if they are a high school unless they make it up somehow. Some do that some don't. Its not districts and adminstrators its the legislature who has ruined things.
