---Good that Outman is going down. He needs consistent ABs to fix things at the plate and regain his confidence.
---Time to cut bait with Chris Taylor. He's been great for the Dodgers over the past several years, but he's adding nothing this year.
---Dodgers need to figure out a long-term solution at 3B. Muncy's been great defensively this year, and his offense has been improved, but it seems to be trending downward lately. And who is his backup? Chris Taylor (if he's still with the team)? It would be nice to have Busch around as a backup.
---At what point should the Dodgers say thanks but adios to Barnes, and start grooming a young up-and-coming catcher as the backup to Smith and legitimate contender to replace him when/if needed?
---The top 4 of the Dodgers lineup have been really good, but we've yet to see them all hitting at the same time. The bottom 5 of the lineup has been abysmal. Yes, Hernandez has been racking up the RBIs, but he's more likely to strike out than get a hit. Pages was great initially, but he's showing he's now in a very steep learning curve and not getting the results he was initially. Enrique Hernandez has been mediocre. Lux appears to be improving. Hopefully, he can become a consistent 5th player.
---Team has done well, but just hasn't been able to hit its stride, at least not yet.
