Are broadly “fitness” imo.
Probably the primary thing it sounds like we disagree about is intensity. Here’s my thought on that.
Intensity is fine but many people try to substitute it for consistency and that substitution does not ever work. You cannot cram the night before and learn everything for the test when it comes to fitness. Be consistent is the first law and be intense is somewhere down there below not just be consistent (in my mind) but also be efficient and be careful.
If lowering your intensity increases your consistency or your safety or your efficiency I think you should do it, unless intensity is part of what you are training for.
Consistency is the king. Intensity is great except to the extent that it often becomes the enemy of consistency.
