It's easier for a guy, for sure. My perspective is what my wife does
She leaves for LAX tomorrow morning and she'll be there for a couple of days. Next week. she'll fly back to LAX where she'll spend a day before flying out to NYC for a couple of days and before spending the weekend in Wilmington.
If she's in LA for a day, she may not check in a bag. WIth multiple days and multiple cities, however, she always checks a bag because that's a lot of shoes... women are weird.
