next time BYU fans go out adding wives to their polygamous marriages, then the generalization is based on at least something. Of course what you are saying is true, but BYU is somewhat of a special case because the religion gets attacked and usually out of complete ignorance and has nothing to do with sports--calling UNLV fans thugs is way too broad of a brush but at least there's some kind of basis for it and it is pertinent to the athletic context.
