We got ahold of a 16 foot ladder, our can of wasp/hornet spray was more than half empty. Just as it was about 6 inches to a foot from getting the nest, it would get blown away. We took a hose to it, but it didn't detach, but no hornets flew out. I'm going to get a fresh can of spray tomorrow and we should be good to go.
