Where I work we hire a lot of chemical, electrical, computer, and a couple mechanical engineers. I can guarantee you Utah grads are no better than BYU. That is laughable, especially for undergraduate programs where BYU puts emphasis. The last 4 engineers we hired in my group in the last 6 months were 3 from BYU (2 EE, 1 ME) and 1 from Virginia (EE)... no Utes. Guys from Utah were interviewed... hmmm... and no, not one of the interview team graduated from BYU. We have some good engineers from Utah, but their program is no better - and they definitely don't get paid more cause they are from TUNA (team up north aways)
