It Was Nothing Personal
Josh Weeks is a very good young man and a gifted athlete who will set aside two years of football to serve as a missionary. He's an unassuming young man that doesn't hold any bitter feelings towards anyone.

As a junior, Weeks broke six Arizona receiving records and now just broke three personal records, school records and the Blue Ridge Track Meet records in the 100x, 200x and 400x dash. He's also on the short list to be a US Army All-American Bowl game selection.

With that being said, Weeks is a very good young man, and gifted athlete, who will set aside two years of football a side to serve as a missionary. He's an unassuming young man that doesn't hold any bitter feelings towards anyone.

What it comes down to is, BYU did a great job of scouting him out early and did an exceptional job of recruiting an athlete that is now getting looked at by other colleges. LSU, Michigan state along with colleges closer to home are now trying to stir the pot. Remember, he committed to BYU over four months ago, and is firmly committed to BYU regardless of who comes calling. His comments about Utah is pretty much the same standard he has for every college out there. They all are the last school he would go to because he's already committed to BYU. And like Weeks said, "Nothing is going to shake that committment."
