You're exactly right. I could have put the entire quote, but I decided this edited version was best because some might take it in a way not intended. It looks like I failed because there will always be someone looking to find fault no matter what you do.

Maybe next time I won't edit, with sensitivity mind, the quote knowing more than a 17 year old young man's words could ensite those who hang on the words, with a critical eye, of such young men. I should probably just worry about the main audience of which this article was intended for instead of being sensitive towards those that it isn't.
