Wyoming, CSU, UNLV and SDSU is better than playing w/a huge national TV Contract against teams like Houston, SMU, East Carolina, and Louisiana Tech?

Somehow I am not seeing how BYU is now worse off and independence is bad. Last time I checked, BYU had little choice and took the best road possible. It sure looks as if it has turned a sous ear into a silk purse...one filled with ESPN Gold for that matter.

And while you are kicking yourself in the britches because BYU will have to play New Mexico State in staid of, oh, I don't know, New Mexico (who the Aggies defeated last year)... BYU will also be winning 10 or more games every year, probably getting ever better bowl opportunities and building an even bigger national following because of it's exposure on ESPN. Yes that somehow really stinks.
