You assume that people are actually going to be watching Idaho State, New Mexico State, and Idaho!!! Who cares if those games are on NBC every week no one outside of BYU and their fans are going to be watching. We dont get increased exposure of playing Idaho State on BYUtv.

More people would be watching BYU vs. Baylor on FSN Southwest than will be watching BYU vs. Idaho State on BYUtv or ESPN or whatever other channel on ESPN network you want to try. I have seen the rebroadcast numbers thus far... they are pathetic!
