I don't understand the constant comparison to ND.
Anyone would love to schedule Notre Dame. Any conference would love to have them. The same does not go for BYU. It's not because BYU is bad, or that no one respects them, it's just that Notre Dame is Notre Dame. Their national T.V. watching fan-base is actually a national T.V. watching fan-base.
